This flat refurbishment started with a complete strip out of everything back to the brickwork leaving a plain canvas to work with. The building itself was listed externally, but internally we could do more-or-less what we desired. Everything was detailed to the last screw and coordinated on drawings and schedules before commencement. The result being a very smooth transition from existing to proposed, all-be-it a few hiccups with asbestos removal required along the way. The interior is again of a mixture of modern + traditional. It was designed with intended visual links throughout to tie all the spaces together, all beaming luxury visually and quality to the touch.
