The original brief for this property was to either extend or to build an entire new single dwelling. Throughout the sketch scheme phase and due to the existing incongruous internals, it was determined that in order to achieve a desirable layout - much of the existing building would have to be demolished. As a result, it was concluded that it would be better to demolish the entire building and starting again fresh. 
We gave the client an alternate out-the-box option all together and discussed the possibility of building a new-build block of flats. After much deliberation of design and back and forth with the council via their pre-app process, we achieved planning permission.
The next stage was to put together a design pack that could be quoted against. This was achieved and builders quotes received soon after. 
A developer then made a very good offer to buy the site which the client then agreed upon.
This was another successful project as we had added considerable value to the existing site, and the client walked away very happy!
